The dreamworks trilogy about an evil genius and a group of friends who discover a magic crystal that turns people into stone was one of the best animated movies of 2016, and now you can watch it at home.
Dreamworks has released a new trailer for the film in which the characters from the trilogy meet their creator, Dr. Seuss, and have to find a way to escape from the Stone Age.
“In this story of the greatest creation story ever told, the Croods, we get to witness a dream world that is far from the normal world, and in this world, the story is different.
The Croods is a dream universe where we get the chance to explore the future, to see how this world has evolved over the past 10,000 years,” the company wrote in a press release.
“We’ll meet new characters and see how these Croods came to be, and explore the world that the world is living in.
We’ll also learn about life in a modern-day civilization, and why some Croods still exist.
We will be transported to a place of mystery and wonder, where Croods can be born again and live in a different reality.”
We won’t know for sure until Dreamworks officially announces the movie’s title and release date until the film opens on March 3, 2019.
The release is timed with the release of the Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time” and “Frozen” movies, and marks the company’s first new film since 2014’s “Moana.”
The Crood-themed film is a departure from the usual narrative of Disney animated films, and is being directed by Michael Kahn.
The film will star Benicio del Toro as the Crood, a character created by Dreamworks that takes on the role of the group of heroes.
The movie will also be based on the graphic novel “The Crood Chronicles.”
The first “Croods” film, “The Great Crood” debuted in 2014, and the third film, which was directed by Kahn, was released in 2016.
The third film has grossed over $1 billion worldwide.
“The Dreamworks trilogy is the perfect example of a timeless story, with a great cast and a story that is completely unique to this particular era in cinema history,” Dreamworks CEO John Lasseter said in a statement.
“While the third movie will be released on March 30, 2019, we want to offer this film to audiences as soon as possible.
The Dreamworks team is working tirelessly on the third, and we will keep you updated as the movie is released.”
The announcement comes just days after Disney confirmed the “Moanas” film is set to open in theaters in late March.
